Hi, I'm Yihang, a Libra boy. I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University. Before that, I was a Research Fellow (2024-2026) at the Department of Mathematics, National University of Singapore, supervised by Prof. Vincent Y. F. Tan. I obtained my Ph.D. (2024) in Mathematics from The University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Prof. Michael K. NG. I received B.S. (2020) in Mathematics from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, P.R. China. My research interests include Stochastic Optimization, Optimization for Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Data Science.
